Solution:
Following these steps to correct this file


• Click Start > click Run, here you type msconfig in the Open box >press OK.
• Press the SYSTEM.INI tab.
• Make a note of any items that are not selected.
• Click Disable All > Press OK > you restart your computer.
• Click Start > click Run > you type msconfig in the Open box and click OK.
• Push the SYSTEM.INI tab.
• Now you expand all items in the list > press the check box of an item to turn it on and then click OK.
• Reboot the computer and see if the problem occurs.
• Click Enable All > click to clear the check box next to the faulty item,
• Click OK and then restart your computer again.


Problem: Troubleshoot Boot.ini file when Windows 2003 does not start properly

Solution:

First you reboot the system for normal startup: then do the following steps:

• Repair the Boot.ini file. Click Start > click Run > type msconfig in the Open box, and at the last step click OK button.
• Open General tab, click Normal Startup load all device drivers and services and then click OK
• Restart your computer.

Error: Windows 2003 Server facing FLV 404 Error
Solution:

You can resolve this problem by following these steps:

1. To solve this problem, on the Windows 2003 server, open the Internet Information Services Manager.
2. Expand the Local Computer Server.
3.Then right-click the local computer server and select Properties.
4. Select the MIME Types tab.
5. Click new and enter the following information:
6. Associated Extension box: .FLV
7. MIME Type box:flv-application/octet-stream
8. At the last click OK.


Network error: 0x8004D025 (XACT_E_PARTNER_NETWORK_TX_DISABLED)

Solution:
To enable network DTC access in Windows 2003


1. Click Start > point to Control Panel > click Add or Remove Programs.
2. Click Add/Remove Windows 2003 Components.
3. Select Application Server > click Details.
4. Select Enable network DTC access > click OK.
5. Click Next > click Finish.
6. Reboot the computer.
If you are running Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1),

Go to control panel > open "Component services".
2. Expand Component Services, expand Computers, right-click My Computer > click Properties.
3. Go to the MSDTC tab, click security configuration.. You cannot select mutual authentication required. Therefore > click to select one of the following check boxes:
• Incoming Caller Authentication Required
• No Authentication Required. Click OK. Reboot the computer.


Update error# 0x800A138F

Solution:
To remove this type of error, you do the following steps:

1. Delete the temporary Internet Files
2. Start the Internet Explorer.
3
. Go to tools menu > click Internet Options > click the General tab.
4.Under the temporary Internet files > click delete Cookies.
5.Click OK when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
6. Click Delete Files > click OK when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
7. Under the History tab. click clear history.
8. Click yes when you are prompted to delete your history of visited Web sites.
9. Click OK > Close Internet Explorer.
10. Start Internet Explorer and try the Windows Update Site again

 

Error: When the Windows 2003 server cannot access the specified device path or file.
Solution:

1. When you copy an executable (*.exe) file In Windows 2003, the file now has a blocked property.
2. This is a security feature that can easily be resolved by reviewing the file properties and clicking the 'Unblock' button to disable the security feature.
